City Guesthouse Pension Berlin

Unexpected comfort in a quiet location

The City Guesthouse Pension Berlin was a good surprise with its proximity to vibrant cafes and an easy walk to public transport. My room showcased vibrant decor and ample cleanliness.

The shower design posed a safety concern for my older travel companions, lacking necessary grab bars. Some noise from nearby establishments may disrupt light sleepers during the night.

Everything was spotless, fab location in the attached cafe, the staff were polite. We had an excellent stay at this great budget hotel...

Cool and absolutely great accommodation with fab setting really close to good restaurants, bars and cafes, coffee and tea as well as the U Bahn. Reasonable breakfast with a huge variety of hot/cold dishes. Public parking nearby provided. Everything spotless.

Consider grabbing breakfast at the nearby café for a good start to your day, as the hotel offers limited breakfast options.

thanks to a train station found adjacent to the hotel, i could visit sightseeings. just a walk down to attractions, including schonhauser allee arcaden. mitte neighborhood deserves to be explored. 100 feet away from the property there is schall und rauch, which is a good dining choice.

I really liked the location, close to the main spots to see in berlin. The room was super clean and the check in was easy peasy. Had a comfy bed and even a coffee maker which was nice. I liked how the room setup was planned out. It's so handy that the chinese restaurant next door handles the check in, they were really helpful.

The bathroom could use some updates, like better lighting and more towels. The breakfast was kinda lame for what you pay.

The beds where ok in our room. Easy access to mauerpark and other tourist spots.

The location is well-situated near plenty of restaurants and public transport. The rooms are clean and offer a bright, cheerful decor that adds a cozy vibe to the stay.

The rooms can be quite small. In one instance, even a relatively short traveler found the bed a bit cramped. Plus, navigating through several locked doors might feel cumbersome to some guests, especially after a late night out.

The location was perfect for our family stay with pets, close to shops and parks. We enjoyed easy access to U-Bahn stations. The hospitality at the guesthouse was commendable, especially when they quickly resolved our Wi-Fi issues.

My kids wished for more breakfast options.
